REDONDA MESA

Type: Repeater

Callsign: WFY579

Location: Atop Redonda Mesa along the southern end of the Elsinore Mountains in southwestern Riverside County, California.  About 11 miles west of Temecula. Somewhat remote.

LAT/LONG: 33.49486   -117.34567

Paths: Oceanside and San Clemente.

Notes: Redonda Mesa was a more recent addition to the AT&T microwave network having been constructed after 1980.  The unique tower design was most likely chosen for aesthetic reasons yet the tower is located in a rural setting with mainly horse ranches surrounding the area.  Nonetheless a neat and "modern" tower design.
